about

This album is an escape. It is the desire to find something better, the knowledge from deep down in the soul that we were made for something bigger. Society puts so much on us, and we find ourselves lost in conflict and problems without answers and dealing with people that think that you shouldn't be in church if you aren't wearing a tie.

Simply put, our eyes are lost on the earth.

But I have found that when I step away for a moment and I stare above at the night sky ablaze with billions of stars, I find that the things of earth grow strangely dim, and I remember a story of a Savior that has bigger plans.

Where the city ends, I find myself.
Where the city ends, I find God.

I hope you enjoy these songs on this album. Take time to listen to the words, you just might find that they hold more that what meets the ear. Thanks to all who support me, and to Haley Coon for her vocal talent, as well as Logan Carter for using my music in his fantastic films. Thanks to everyone who was patient with me when I was in my "reclusive recording" mood. And especially my Savior, who is the only reason I am able to make music. It is not my talent but his, and I can't think of a better way to use it than to further his kingdom.

Hope you all enjoy this brand new collection of songs!

Peace,
River Davis
